Social Day Program
Brooklyn United offers a Social Day Program for supervised, structured socialization and recreation for seniors in a warm and inviting environment. . Located just 15 minutes away from our main location, in a quiet residential neighborhood with beautiful grounds and free parking.
Our program services to individuals who are older adults (senior citizens), disabled, frail, vulnerable, or at risk individuals throughout Brooklyn and Queens who are 21 and older. The Social Day program is beneficial to those who are socially isolated, confused, forgetful, physically or mentally impaired.
Services included are therapeutic recreation activities, social services, support groups, daily meals, pharmacy service, transportation to medical appointment, and caregiver relief.
Free transportation is available to and from the program and we can also accommodate Spanish and Creole speaking individuals.
